Pride and dignity are at the center of Movu's design.
In 1978, Aina Wifalk invented the first walker that would provide necessary support while walking. She chose not to patent the invention so that the aid could help as many people as possible. That was a good thought.
Even the best aids have their limitations. Small wheels on traditional aids can make it difficult to handle uneven paths. Many also feel that aids make them look old, which most people would prefer to avoid.
That’s why we started Movu five years ago with a clear goal: to create a product that people want to use, not just because they have to, but because they want to. Pride and dignity are at the center of our design.
What makes Movu unique?
